unShadowing
Achieving both attractiveness and acceptability in information presentation is challenging. Focusing on attractiveness may lead to an annoyance for users, while prioritizing acceptability could result in the information going unnoticed. To solve this problem, we propose an information presentation technique that utilizes the user’s shadow, making it move differently from the user. This method achieves high attractiveness by drawing the user’s attention with the improbable phenomenon of their shadow moving independently. Simultaneously, it achieves high acceptability by presenting information through the shadow, which can be seen as an extension of the user’s self.
