Hazy Rooms
When using video conferencing systems, it is believed that having visible faces makes conversations easier and enhances intimacy and trust. However, due to reasons such as embarrassment, many participants tend to hide their faces, leading to difficulties in increasing mutual intimacy and trust. To address this issue, we propose a video conferencing system that dynamically applies a blurring effect to each participant’s video based on the state of communication.
